Full of shadow in the noonday sun,
I admit defeat, you bastards have won,
Caught in a moment of deep despair,
When I’m gone they’ll learn to care,
Retreat within,
Learned to keep it all inside,
No-one will care when I have died,
Retreat within,
And as far as I can see,
Only I believe in me,
And as far as I can see,
Suicidal tendency,
Driven down to my knees,
I want so bad to be free,
Tired of banality,
Want so bad to be free,
As the light is leaving me,
Want so bad to be free,
All the pain you never see,
I want so bad to be free,
Retreat within,
And as far as I can see,
Only I believe in me,
ONLY I BELIEVE IN ME!,
Retreat within.
